When Arist Dethleffs invented the original "living car” about 90 years ago, because he wanted to have his family with him during his long business trips, he laid the foundation for a new form of holiday. More than any other caravan series in the Dethleffs model range the Camper® embodies this family idea.
Now the "family"-series has undergone a facelift and in the new model year not only gets a new interior but also an upgrading of the children's sleeping areas. From the outside the reworked Camper® models with their design rear light mouldings with high-quality integral lights also fit perfectly into the modern Dethleffs model range. Especially for kids there are now practical fabric bags and visually attractive fabric covers in the bunk bed area. In the course of the rework, the garage doors were also enlarged where technically possible, so that even more bulky holiday utensils can be stowed away.
 
In many layouts, the lowest bunk bed can be folded up and the space below it can also be loaded from outside and used as storage space. The Camper® has been a super solid caravan for decades: proven, successful and well thought-out", product manager Alexander Huber describes the series, which is especially characterised by practical bunk beds and highest safety standards. "Here, the basic needs, especially of families, are absolutely fulfilled - luxury can be easily added by countless options". This is certainly what the inventor had in mind: to make traveling as comfortable as possible for everyone.

  • Technik rund ums Fahrzeug

    Die Modellauswahl lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Mit insgesamt 12 Grundrissvarianten, Längen und zusätzlichen Sonderausstattungen wird der Camper® zum individuellen Freund der Familie. Dabei variieren die Maße entsprechend: Der »Kleinste« ist 230 cm breit, der »Größte« 250 cm. Bei der Länge stehen Modelle von 691 cm bis zu 942 cm zur Verfügung. Die Höhe ist bei allen Modellen gleich und liegt bei 265 cm. Zu erwähnen ist auch die zulässige Gesamtmasse. Bei 1500 Kilogramm bis zu 2000 Kilogramm besteht reichlich Spielraum für die Zuladung. 

    Obligatorisch und angenehm für die gesamte Familie ist die Warmwasserversorgung über die Therme. Damit niemand frieren muss, wenn der Sommer im Urlaub mal Pause macht, steht eine leistungsstarke Warmluftheizung zur Verfügung. 

    Für die Sicherheit der Elektrik sorgt ein kompakter Elektroblock mit 230 V Sicherungsautomat und 12 V Sicherung im Kleiderschrank, inklusive eines leistungsstarken Umformers 340 W. 

  • Eine einladende Sitzgruppe gehört einfach dazu. Diese bietet in unseren Modellen reichlich Platz zum Lesen und für Spiele, zum Reden oder Dösen. Durch ein paar Handgriffe wird der Einsäulen-Hubtisch abgesenkt (je nach Variante) und die Sitzgruppe wird zum Bett, ganz einfach und unkompliziert. 

    Wie auf Wolken, weich, bequem und komfortabel – so werden Sie schon nach der ersten Nacht die Matratzen unseres Schlaf-Gut-Systems beschreiben. Verantwortlich dafür sind ergonomische 7-Zonen-Matratzen aus klimaregulierendem Material auf Speziallattenrosten. Diesen Komfort haben nicht nur die Erwachsenen im Elternbett, sondern auch die Kinder in den Stockbetten. Sicherer Schlaf für den Nachwuchs im oberen Bett gewährleistet der Rausfallschutz. 

    Frische Luft, Wasser und Natur pur setzen nicht nur Bärenkräfte frei, sondern auch Bärenhunger. Hier kommt die Küche im Familien-Wohnwagen zum Einsatz. Versorgen Sie Ihre Liebsten auf einem praktischen 3-Flamm-Kocher mit elektrischer Zündung. Großzügige Schubladen gewährleisten, dass genügend Vorräte und Utensilien auf der Reise an Bord sind. Besonders nützlich und professionell ist der praktische Apothekerauszug (grundrissabhängig) für Gewürze, Essig, Öl und vieles mehr. Für die nötige Kühlung ist ein großer Kühlschrank mit Froster integriert. Was braucht es unterwegs mehr?

    Für die Morgentoilette und das abendliche Abduschen von Salzwasser, Sand oder Matsch ist das großzügige Familienbad im Wohnwagen ideal. Kompakt konstruiert, ist mit einer Duschwanne, Waschbecken und Toilette alles vorhanden, um frisch in den Tag oder sauber in die Nacht zu starten.
