The Globebus Performance 4x4 is equipped for total self-sufficiency, allowing its occupants to stay off-grid in remote, picturesque locations while enjoying nature at its best. To achieve this, Dethleffs has focused on minimising the use of gas as a power source. Accordingly, the motorhome features a diesel heater that reliably warms the living room and provides a continuous supply of hot water. The 131-litre compressor fridge, powered electrically and independent of gas, ensures the highest level of self-sufficiency while travelling. The only gas-powered appliance is the two-burner gas hob, which runs on a 2.8 kg gas bottle stored under the kitchen counter. This setup not only does away with the need to carry large, cumbersome gas bottles, but also frees up additional storage space at the rear by eliminating the gas bottle locker.
An AGM battery and a set of six lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 263 Ah provide enough power to run the lights and electrical consumers for several days. The modern, eco-friendly Clesana C1 waterless toilet also contributes to greater self-sufficiency. Furthermore, the Globebus Performance 4x4 is equipped with a Grünbeck water filtration system, ensuring a constant supply of clean, safe water, no matter where your travels take you.
